Serenity Studio Teachers...

Marianne Power– Owner/Director/Choreographer
Marianne Power studied C.D.T.A syllabus in Boston Massachusetts, Calgary Alberta and Mississauga Ontario. She passed her exams with Honors and continued to have a strong passion for dance. She began teaching dance of all styles in various studios, schools and daycares. She ran workshops for high schools in the G.T.A while working towards a business degree from Sheridan. She opened Serenity Studio 4yrs ago and has seen great success with the growth of the studio. She has a wonderful connection with the children and parents and has a lot of pride in the fact that our studio is set apart from others. She keeps in touch with the parents every week and addresses any concerns in a timely matter. She has a wonderful teaching team with who have the same morals and ideas of wh

Virginia Finbow– Tap Teacher
Ginny studied dance in Brampton and completed her teachers’ exam in 1996. That year she also passed her RAD exam in ballet, tap and jazz, and began teaching. Ginny graduated from Mayfield Secondary’s Dance program in 1999, where she thrived in choreographing pieces for her fellow students. She was a competitive dancer for 3 years winning top marks in tap group and solo. A highlight for Ginny was studying with her fellow teachers at Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School at UB buffalo where she completed teaching courses in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop, gaining top marks on her exams. She is thrilled to be returning to teaching dance after a hiatus, and is excited about another year at Serenity Studio.
Carrie Meyer– Pointe Teacher
Carrie has been dancing for over 30 years with various studios throughout Brampton and Mississauga. She is a graduate of Mayfield Secondary School's Regional Arts dance program where she was awarded several certificates and awards for leadership and skill. She has been trained in both BATD and RAD. Throughout her dancing career she has won many awards and has competed in such competitions as Junior Miss Dance of Canada.

All About Serenity Studio....

Serenity Studio’s programs encourage students to explore their communication skills, discover their unique style of self expression, and build confidence as artists. Recital and Competitive students will benefit with working each other to produce a year-end showcase in a positive and creative environment!

Serenity Studio is a privately owned business which offers affordable performing arts programs for all ages. We understand the importance of having a positive, loving atmosphere where the students have the freedom of creative expression and room for growth.

Serenity Studio was established by Marianne Power in 2005 and became incorporated in 2007. The studio has a number of fantastic programs available for students ages 2.5 and up.

Serenity Studio is a Performing Arts School for Ballet/Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop, Acrobatics/Rhythmic Ribbons, Competitive and Recreational programs and Adult Classes!!!

Serenity Studio’s Teachers are all qualified in CDTA, RAD and Cecchetti. This is a positive advantage Serenity Studio has because students will obtain different techniques and styles. They will be able to find their forte with the different variety’s of dance styles available.
